We left Dallas and drove to McAlester, Oklahoma the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We couldn't have gone to Texas and not stopped in Oklahoma to visit the Vanderveers! Shad and I played games with Paul and Mallory while the kids jumped right back into being best friends like they hadn't missed a day.
