Where we walked on RED brick roads...but I don't think we're in Kansas anymore!

I am SOOOOOO ready to be done
It's hard to tell for sure, but I think it could very well be possible that my mind has officially become frazzled beyond anything...at least to my recollection at this point in my life. I think this mostly stems from the mass dumping of assignments these past 2 weeks from all of my classes on top of work and work and social and family and all of these obligations that have been constantly pulling me in all different directions. I ended up taking 2 days off of work this week in order to work on homework ALL DAY. If it weren't for my friend, Paul, constantly distracting me in every way and opportunity he could, I would be beyond insane. But, it all ends tonight and I am so glad to be back to biking to work and having my free life back. Less chaos will definitely be good for my health:)

Can I go insane if I'm already there?
This week was absolutely insane. I have been so stressed and on edge that any little thing that someone says or does has potential to tip me over the edge into a rage of fury. I'll account that it happened several times. On a few occasions I was able to hold my tongue and refrain from all that I wanted to say, and I am proud of myself for that. Between chaos at work, masses of homework, tests, papers, quizzes and projects, organizing a Relief Society enrichment night, feeding the missionaries and making a cake all this week, a coworker asked me if I'm a masochist. And on top of that, I have the added stress of, now being single again, being a highly desired commodity. One such instance where I was sent over the edge was when I received a text from a guy asking if it was a bad thing that he hadn't heard from "his date" in a week. As if we've ever associated and communicated outside of in person contact! After having two dates in the course of two and a half weeks since being dumped, I've decided to remove that unwanted stress factor from my life and declare being a nun until I see fit not to. I have one week left of school and it's all that I ask just to survive that. Already I'm stressed with the weight of the workload and it isn't even Monday yet. However, I'm happy to say that I can devote all my time next week to doing my homework and studying. No shopping, no enrichment, no missionaries, no social life. Starting with taking the day off tomorrow:)

Okay, I only have time for a quick one. So last week I was terrible at getting back to schoolwork. I think it was a combo of taking the week off for spring break as well as getting dumped Monday night and spending the week being mopey. Needless to say, not much got done. I was a little better this week, but overwhelmed with all the catch up I had from last week. So I'm still not doing super fantastic this week. Better luck next week with only 3 weeks left. Strong finish! Can't fail classes just because I got dumped. That is ridiculous.
Um, so I still just didn't have a pleasant week otherwise because I'm still in the relationship hangover stage and still just get my mind caught up and distracted wishing I had what I don't and can't. Again, gotta stop it. I got set up on a double date on Thursday and I did better with it (emotionally) than I thought I would. I honestly thought I was going to back out of it at the last minute saying I'm just not ready to date other people yet and that it's too much too fast. I also have a date for this coming Friday and another guy that wants to take me out sometime. Really, they sure don't waste much time once wind gets out that I'm single, free and up for grabs again. It's been a bit overwhelming, feeling like I haven't had time to breathe and get my head and emotions straight, but I'm handling it. I think after Friday I'm going to declare being a nun for a while. We'll see.
