I honestly don't have recollections of May at this point, and don't feel like flipping through my journal to refresh my memory. My mind is elsewhere at the moment, so we'll just do pictures.
The kids love having front row seats to Dadda concerts. This time he let them choose the topic for the song he improvised. Tom picked a song about pee, so thus we now hear the kids singing in our house, "I Really Need to Go Pee." And something about peeing a rainbow.
Dancy is his number one fan.
Here's a couple exerpts from the jam session:
Dancy feeding herself yogurt.
Elder Hammond left us 6 weeks ago:( Gosh, we miss this kid so much. He could come back any day now and we'd be thrilled. Sadly, he got transferred up to Omaha.
More Katie hairstyles from her nursery teacher, Jocelyn.
Tom showing off the K for Katie that Shad made from a sawed off dresser leg. Tommy has a T for himself.
We went to Colorado for the first weekend in May, which was Jason Bade's thesis art show down town. Jason and Shad have been best friends since middle school. So glad we could go support him!
Everybody always has to have a turn to help Shad mow the lawn.
We've been going on walks/bike rides nightly. Tom and Katie always ask to ride their bikes instead of walk. Tommy says that walking doesn't give his body exercise like riding his bike does:)
We're conditioning Katie to start walking instead of riding in the stroller. We go without a stroller or in a single stroller as often as we can. When we do use the double stroller anymore, it's usually to walk to a location instead of just a casual walk, so I make Katie walk one direction and let her ride the other.
One of the best parts of these walks is climbing up on the Car Wash sign's post.
